Nation News app good for
This is what I expected. Read new on The Nation easier and more convenience than ever.
When I try to post to Twitter, the app tells me that I doesnt have Twitteriffic. Thats true im using Tweetie! If its possible to let the user choose Twitter client Ill give one more star.
Its the best way to keep up to date on Thai news. Everything I need in this app. Dont know if its possible to read offline.

ใช้มาซักสองสัปดาห์แล้ว มีปัญหาอยู่ดีๆ app ก็ปิดตัวเองไปเฉยๆ ประมาณ 3 ครั้ง ขอให้ผู้พัฒนาลองพิจารณาส่วนนี้ดูนะครับ นอกจากนั้น ก็ถือว่าใช้ได้ เวลาในการเปิดก็ไม่นาน การ Fetching News แม้ว่าจะไม่ได้อยู่บน wifi network หรือ 3G (บน EDGE) ถือว่าไม่นานเลยครับ
Some bad moments
Latest upgrade (which, by the way, states that it contains a "small bug fix") makes this app now totally useless. Unless you are willing to pay a US $3.99 per month subscription fee for its previously free news content! What a joke!
Dont waste your time! Dont get the latest update! See if you are still able to get free news on your original version first. Once you have updated, it renders the app a total waste. Ive just deleted mine.
The Bangkok Post has a similar and very decent app that is (so far still) free. I suggest you use that one instead for all your Thailand news needs!
Wow, I feel cheated. After downloading and using their free app for a few weeks Im now being forced to pay $3.99 every month for FREE (read their sales copy) access!
At best, the Nation is, and always has been a mediocre newspaper. I installed their app purely because it was free and Ive used it very occasionally if I need to kill a few minutes.
Their expensive subscription fee might be justified if The Nation had anything to offer above the thousands of news-based websites online but with their currently offerings Im pleased to be able to delete this app and clear up my icon-clutter.
Not sure why it says free. You have to pay to view the news! The older version WAS free.
Still crash when tapping at "Bangkok Biz" in this version. It was working well in last version before an update to v. 1.2 . Please fix. Thank you for having us this app.
I download loaded this to update myself on Thai news. Every time I tried to open it a link to AIS bookstore that would basically send me to App Store to purchase AIS Bookstore when I would try to close out of ad. Didnt keep it for than 20 hours. Think it was a scam. If I could rate at 0 stars I would
In the current version the app does not load the news anymore. Not even the headline which is worse than last update where the headlines load but the articles themselves do not. You can make it looks as nice as you want, but it wont matter if it doesnt work.
